A single two hour workshop for preschoolers starting kindergarten in 2009, where children will explore letters, words and sentences using May Gibbs’ stories and characters.

Does your preschooler enjoy books and stories, recognise some letters of the alphabet and wants to learn to read? During this two hour workshop, experienced primary school teachers will help your preschooler explore letters, words and sentences using May Gibbs’ much loved Snugglepot and Cuddlepie. A delightful way to help your child learn to read.

The fantasy world of May Gibbs has captured the imagination of generations of Australian children. Designed for children with good reading ability, this two hour workshop will provide rich reading and writing activities, exploring and appreciating the stories of May Gibbs’. A wonderful opportunity to extend and enrich your child’s literacy skills.
